How to handle Objections
How to handle Objections in your MLM Business is another important skill you need to learn.
If you learn and master the skill of how to handle objections then you have a greater chance in closing that specific person in your business!
I am going to list some of most common objections when talking to prospects!
“Is this a Pyramid Scheme?”
If someone actually asks me.. “hey is this a Pyramid?” Now if they are rude then I let them go right away and they are toast for me! Should for you too, move on and go. Do you need rude people in your business anyway? But if they are not being rude then I might say something like this…
” Um, are you serious? Like, really? You are being serious? If you are joking we can continue talking, if not, this is not for you and appreciate you being so open with me so early on!”
Now do you see how postured this is? You see that question a lot of times is just to see you dance! And as my Mentor Ray Higdon says, I DON’T DANCE! If someone is trying to make me dance, I will not dance! I am not playing their game. I am building my business, I am qualifying them to see if they are worthy of my time! VS let me answer all your dumb questions and hopefully I will make a dollar off of you! That is very different posturing
here is another one on how to handle these kind of objections..
“Yeah , it is, we will probably only make money for the next 6 months until the AG’s catch on, you in man?” LOL Just make a joke out of it! This objection is a JOKE! Its a total joke! Since 1941 this has built into a 110 Billion Dollar industry a year! This is a joke questions so don’t ever take this objection serious!
“How are you doing with it? or How much are you making?”
Be honest, unless you are really confident, don’t pull the “Unbelievable answer, they may call you out!
Here is what you can say when you are just starting or not up to a higher level in your company! TO get your power back ask questions! This question is like a samurai sword and chop them right in half!
“I am just getting started but the guy that is training me is making $40,000 per month and is showing me how to build this business massively, would you even be open to earning some extra money from home right now?”
“I don’t have time”
This is a good answer on how to handle objections in the “I dont have time to do this!” Usually this will be told after your prospect has watched the presentation!
“You know what’s funny is if you want something done, you have to find a busy person to do it. Busy people have the most connections and get the most done, you know it and I know it. If you are saying this to blow me off, totally cool, but if you think this requires a huge amount of time, you are wrong. What were the reasons you were even considering a home business?”
Do you see how I ask a question? That is critical and takes your POWER back!
“What is this all about?”
I actually love this objection.. check out what I say to this!
“This is about me interviewing you to see if you are someone I would be interested in working with! Are you someone that is even open to making extra money from home?”
You see how powerful this is? Your making sure you still have your power!
“I need to think about it”
Here is a dirty one Its powerful!
Perfect, I totally understand, I prefer to work with people who know they are serious and are ready to join my team. Take as much time as humanly possible. I do not like investing my time in someone that is not confident!
Is that a challenge or what? Does anybody want to not be serious or not be confident? NOOO People want to be known that we are serious and confident! So what this answer does is.. it labels the prospect as NON SERIOUS and NON CONFIDENT! Is that a challenge or what? Your prospect probably almost wants to sign up just in spite. A little psychology here my friend!
