Because members of Linkedin have chosen to be a part of your group, you have a more captive audience. You can link the RSS feed from your blog to your group. Make sure to have your URL in the welcome message to your group. You want your group name to contain a keyword so that your group is easily found.

Send Weekly Messages- Every week, send a valuable, relevant message to your group, whether you own the group or are a participant. Include the link for your blog. This will help you build relationships and generate traffic to your blog. Remember, your blog is your home. By adding your URL, you are simply inviting them to come over and visit.

Create events-  Linkedin Events are a great way to increase your activity with members of your Linkedin Community. Any event can be posted. The event can be online or offline. Create the event with details of how to register. You can invite anyone in your network. Share these events with different groups in which you are active.

Answer Questions-  The Linkedin “Answers” function is not widely known or used. Linkedin users submit questions. You find the questions relevant to your expertise and answer them. Connect directly with the person who asked the question and build the relationship. Your answer can contain links, which will drive traffic to specific blog posts or articles that will help educate the one who asked the question. This is a very effective way to use Linkedin for business marketing.
